What is ScanSmart?

ScanSmart is an augmented reality (AR) application, that runs on the TIBCO Connected Intelligence Cloud that allows you to win prizes while attending online event sessions!

How does it work?

With your mobile device camera, use ScanSmart to scan QR codes (such as on a Powerpoint slide) to bring AR elements (such as holograms in different shapes and forms) into the camera view.

supported on iOS and Android Devices, with browsers like Safari, Chrome, and Firefox.
No App install required! Just follow the during the event provided URL,
or scan a QR code containing the URL with your mobile device.

What different AR markers?

during online event sessions there can be

• “Word puzzle” marker
• “On-the-spot-prize” marker
• Three “regular” marker, containing 3D Objects or Video playbacks

What are the different challenges?

there are 3 type of challenges supported by the App currently

• connect letters that you can discover in AR in the right order and get extra points,
  when entering the right secret word into the App.
• scan “On-the-spot-prize” session specific markers quickly, just the first e.g. 4 win extra prizes.
• Overall Event winners with most points, get big prizes - e.g. TOP 3

Technology behind

This App is fully based on TIBCO Connected Intelligence Cloud (CIC), this allows quickly adjustable API’s, plus fraud detection, easy to attendee case management, and great reporting of the overall status.
