TIBCO Cloud™ Nimbus® - Exploration

Nimbus Map Activities can get loaded into any AR Experience of Hololens 2, by looking at a machine specific QR Code. This allows to add little or complex Instruction guides anywhere and make them contextual.

All details can get modified without and implementation change or adjustment, more Activities can get added on the fly. New QR Codes can get created easily by just taking the last Path ID from a Nimbus Cloud URL. e.g. “0:123456abc….”

And all this just by using Nimbus Web UI.

The right information, at right time, and at the right QR Code position.

Conclusion

• with this first Implementation, Instruction Guides can get places already everywhere.
• No Adjustments are necessary in the Implementation itself.

Future Work

• display Nimbus Attachments next to an Object (Videos, Images)
• use QRCode Position, Scale and Rotation to place other 3D Objects as kind of overlay
• add real-time IoT Sensor Details next to the Object (e.g. Warnings, Logs, etc.)
